Hiya ! This
family of sound was originally called Musique Concrete - but with the
gramatical accents over the letters. It was made with valves then... Georgie
(Harrison) made an album, on the Apple label, under a pseudonym, which
is probably now a collector's item. It was like no other Beatle's music
(the Walrus was Paul) and he ditched the experiment in favour of melodic,
devotional, pooey. Didn't Zappa claim to have invented the fuzz bass ? The
moon is luminous (or luminescent) now and will set in about thirty minutes
- then I'll log off. I guess maybe there are 'only three people logged
on' as the sound stream is unbroken. Did I say that that taxi lady blended
perfectly with some middle-of-the-road Elgar ? (That went out the window
too - there's no-one within five floors of here tonight.) It's close to
Hallowe'en... The current human evolutionary theory suggests that people
sang before they learned to speak - and nothing I have understood counteracts
that view.
